Okay, but *Ouch* distortion

You made a very catchy tune here.
I like the sounds you used.
Nice layering of those different melodies too.
I like how you continue with one melody and than change the melodie on top.
Now, why I only gave you 7 :

There's a lot of distortion on your kicks.
You could have used some more variation, I hear the same melodies coming back all the time. Also a nice breakdown somewhere in the middle wouldn't have been bad. and after the breakdown you just start with a brand new theme.
Some tips for this distortion :
Use a compressor, play around with it a bit until you hav nice kicks without htis crackling sound.

thanks, now yeah i know what you mean, cause i used blood overdrive on the drum beats so it would stand out, i forgot to add a compressor, and a breakdown would seem good now you mentioned it =P

I haven't heard the original but this stuff is sounding good. :p
Nice bass, fast beat.
The only thing bothering me a little was this sharp sound, I don't know how to name it.
Like Cormyr said, this makes me type to the beat to :p
What's the tempo actually?

And also, yay, now I have a change to write a proper review to this.
Ready? Here we go:
I absolutely love that static you used there. It's amazing how good a simple saw can sound.
I also love cutoff automation on bass, It makes such a good buildup.
Those pads in the intro are really great to. Did you add any external reverb to it?
I love the drum buildup, nice play with hihats and all the other drum stuff :p

The first theme was very nice, (that was the one you wrote?) Although you may have wanted to use a little more 'powerful lead there.

The breakdwon, was as always very smoothly finished. The vocals fit very well.
Then you go to the next theme and you do it so smoothly that you almost don't notice that it's something else. Very nice melody there.

The outro was also nice and smooth, like everything in this song.

Something else I want to say: I've now listened to this song more than 150 times I guess (on the train, on my way to school, and also at home), And I'm still loving it! This is one of the most addicting songs I've ever heard. Keep up your awesome work, although I know you will. If TEH 5Team keeps growing you will get the respect on Ng you deserve. That's it for now, I think I've written enough here.

I didn't really expect such a good song...
Ambient/DnB, hmmm, there wasn't a lot of DnB, so it's a good thingyou placed it in ambient.
I liked it in general, those 'dark' bells were sounding nice.
You played nicely with the attack knob :p
At certain point here's a lot of stuff going on, but it doesn't sound chaotic. That means you did some good layering.
Nice work, keep it up, 5/5 10/10

lol technically, not that fast since i had this song for a while, i just edited it to become exactly 2 mins. BUT another fact is that this took me like only an hour (the song, non-stop) to make so w00t. btw im talkin bout the full version >.<

Nice job!

I haven't heard the original, but this is pretty cool!
I love the stereo fading in the beginning. You also did a great jib on the drums again.
But they could have been a little more varying (or however you spell that).
The pan flute(?) at the end was also a nice touch to it.

I have no idea how to make a boss theme, but I think you did it quite well!
Is this all by your keyboard? Amazing!
The drums are very nice, and the choir fits perfectly.
The strings also sound very good, and you did a good job on composing the melody.

Yes it is. I don't use sequencers at all atm. So everything that I've uploaded is Just my keyboard. Unfortuantely all my song lack special effects for the time being. The drums were the hardest to do because I had one note on the keyboard that was a snare drum, and I had to tap it like a mofo to get it synced properly. I'm really surprised you heard the Choir, I Figured they would be that little thing that just adds to the whole piece. So you definately have ear for music my friend.

I keep enjoying these upbeat songs! :p
Even though it's pitched down, it still high quality! THose synths must have been REALLY high, 'cause now they're still not all to low.
Nice lead synths (a lot of different ones, thumbs up for that)
I love thos wind effects (Edison ftw)
Breakdowns are nice too, and so on...
The only little thing bothering me was the noise at the end, it was like... a little too long or something. maybe you could have played with the cutoff a little there.
