You certainly know what you're doing with that piano :)
I like the velocity changes, did you play it live maybe? If so, then good job, otherwise, good job at programming the velocities.

This collab is going to be great. :) And I think this one really fits well after mine.

Keep it up!

Phyrnna responds:

Thank you very much. Piano is my main instrument... it's the only instrument that I know how to play. >_< But I did play this out on my badly out of tune piano before I went to write it into FL. But that's also how I know what the velocities are, since I memorized the way I struck the keys on the piano and reproduced that as closely as possible on FL.
Thank you for listening and enjoying!

Not bad :)

You did a good job here. Though in some way there seems to be something missing. When you're at the climax, it doesn't sound 'full' enough if you know what I mean...
Maybe you could've used some other synth/melody fading in right for the climax, and then let it play with a powerful synth. Or maybe it's your bass that needs to be a bit louder, like at 1:40, though I4d use a longer decay on there, so it doesn't sound all that throbby.
If you're planning on making more dance music, I also suggest you to take some time to make a solid, powerful kick, to get that 'in your face' feeling, if you know what I'm trying to say ;)

But in general, you did a nice job, some elements in it remind me a bit of the heaven series by Envy, I think it's the piano at some points.
I also want to compliment the sidechaining in here, you set it nicely :)

Keep up your good work, Mjattie,I admire your composing skills.

mjattie responds:

lol XD it could be a bit inspired by envy. I think that melodies are not the problem but the processing. So that's what I'm going to work on my next song(s). I think though, that my next song will be some kind of ambient.

I love the delay on the piano! (oh that's where you got your title ^^)
I think the length of the intro is okay, it keeps me interested, because I love the sound of piano.
It's nice how you switch to the more electronic sounding part.
It is relaxing, but in an other way I'm used to with ambient.
Good instrument picks here, it all fits.

In short: ACE song ^^ 5'd, 10'd
Keep up the good work, and I want you to know that every time you send me a pm advertising your newest works, I come and listen and vote fairly(5). But mostly I'm just too lazy to review.

mjattie responds:

I know it, I'm quite often also too lazy. I'm glad you liked it :D

Nice mixture of styles!

You used a blatantly obvious FL slayer :p
But it sounded pretty much amazing in my opinion. I like those heavy parts the most, where you play around with slayer, and that nice bass.
Your kick could've been a bit punchier, but I don't know what you wanted it to be like.
Well, I can't imagine at all what was going through your head, and I guess I'm not in the right mood to try to imagine things with it myself ;)
I liked that soft pad you used, can you tell me what vst it was?

Anyway, good work, gave me mixed emotions, relaxed, excited and such.
Keep up the good work, you got my 5 and my 10 =)

headbang87 responds:

Yeah thanks for looking it up! If you mean the pad for example at the beginning, then it was the pad called warm in sytrus, a standard one for FL
Thanks for checking it up, enjoying, voting and reviewing

So many versions

I still doubt which I like the best, this one or the muffins one :p

The cowbell on it's own sounded so nice, and then you build up to this metal/drum'n bass eargasm hell. Good job.
Even when you do things for the lulz you deliver extreme quality.

Keep it up!

Rig responds:

I owe all the quality to the cowbell.

Amazing!

Well this is rare. This actually sounds very professional.
I don't know much about non-electronic music terms but I'll do my best. :p
You're all very skilled in my opinion, the drums sound good, the guitars, basses and all, the singing..
Damn. I have no critisism. Congrats on top5 I guess!

still amazing!

I still love this song after all the time :p
to F-777: is a stepmania stepfile a good start?
I made one: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/s ims/index.php?songid=29616
(without space)

as for the song:
Big drums, 4/3 is amazing, The bass is great too, but the song would even be better if you would have added the bass you made in your latest couple of songs.

Keep it up!

Short, but quality!

Now this is a song that really deserves that #1 spot in the weekly best :)
Nice use of the horror samples, and you blended it nicely to start the DnB part.
Good samples for the drums. It all sounds very evil, so you accomplished your goal with that.
Your reese is pretty nice indeed. :

Hoping your hardware arrives soon, for more epic sounding music :)

Keep it up and congrats!

TY mich dude

Nicely mixed up :)

The first two seconds made me think... "meh another crappy submission"
It sounded kinda strange.
but then some other notes came in, and it sounded nicer.

And then I hear a nice Hardcore-beat. It all made sense :)

You did a good job on keeping my interest, I like it.
Melodies were like they should be in hardcore.
Your kick was a nice layering of sounds, a perfect powerful kick.
Mastering: no single error heard.
Loads of different synths, which helped to keep interest.

So yeah, good work !

Happyish, nice atmosphere

Okay, I promised to review the same day as I answered you review, but I must have been busy :p Anyway, here's your (delayed) review after all :p

Pretty dark intro here. Also some nice drumwork.
I'm not sure about the kick, it sounds like distorted, I know it isn't maybe it's just the sample. Then again I don't listen to a lot of techno, and after a while it seems to fit nicely with the song.

You add a lot of synths through the song, it sounds nice and happy after a while :)
I aslo noticed some acid sounds there, they give a nice touch.

It stops quite sudden in my opinion, maybe you can extend it a bit eventually?

I hope to hear more soon!
Greets,
